Most professionals agree that memory impaired individuals and medically frail individuals function better when they live in smaller surroundings with a familiar group of people. As a result, we refuse to have any ‘home-like’ facilities. We have real homes, just like the ones our members have lived in during their entire lives. Our lovely homes are sizeable and have a maximum of 6 community members and at least two daily caregivers. All care is coordinated and supervised by our Nurse Administrators. This allows members to remain in our caring homes and avoid institutional settings altogether. We provide superior care to assure our members the highest quality of life and to provide their families peace of mind. Assured Horizons is dedicated to serving seniors that are suffering with Alzheimer’s disease, stroke and other difficult medical conditions. We provide a quality of care well above the expected standards. We have 6 intimate homes located in Fountain Valley. Our staff is dedicated to developing the highest professional standards in residential care for the elderly. What Makes Us Special Assured Horizons maintains high staffing ratios which are essential in the proper care of individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders. These high staffing ratios promote individualized attention and opportunities to address members’ individual needs and personal desires. This is accomplished in each home by having no more than 6 residents and at least 2 caregivers. These staffing ratios also increase the long-term stability of Assured Horizons’ caregivers assisting community members.
