Ararat Home of Los Angeles Inc. – Mission Hills, California

Residents of the Assisted Living Facility are housed in a modern, three-story structure on the southwest section of the 10.5-acre Mission Hills campus. For the convenience of residents, each room has its own: bathroom, heating / air-conditioning unit, intercom system, telephone service, furnishings, and space for personal items. The facility has two recreation rooms and a living room. In addition, residents may peruse the magazines, newspapers, novels and Bibles in the library/reading room that are available in both English and Armenian. A Gift Shop near the main lobby carries many novel gifts and edible goods for purchase by residents, guests and visitors. A Beauty Parlor is available for hairdressing and manicure services on a weekly basis. Two beautifully furnished, bright and cheerful dining rooms greet residents each day as they enjoy their meals. The Dietary Department prepares delicious, continental cuisine dishes for residents, including such Armenian favorites as herisseh, dolma, kufte and beoreg, as well as homemade soups and pastries.
